Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is recruiting an Electrical Bias Engineer to support critical data centre environments. The role covers breakdown maintenance, UPS repairs, power quality testing, and on-call standby to ensure uptime and compliant documentation.

The ideal candidate has 18th Edition certification, experience with building management systems, and familiarity with HVAC and safety protocols. On-site role with occasional extended hours may apply.

Qualifications

• 18th Edition electrical wiring regulations required.
• Experience with building management systems and fault finding.
• Familiarity with HVAC, VAV, FCU, chilled water systems.

Responsibilities

• React to breakdown maintenance requests within SLA.
• Repair modular UPS systems and test power quality.
• Provide emergency response standby and on-call support.
• Escalate issues to Technical Services Manager.
• Maintain critical environment docs and records.
• Perform site surveys, risk assessments and method statements.
• Assist upgrade and installation works.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and O&M manuals.
• Monitor environmental conditions and utility usage.
• Prepare incident reports within 24 business hours.
