Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is recruiting an Electrical Bias Engineer to join the team in Sheffield, England. The role covers breakdown maintenance, power systems, UPS, and data centre environments.

You will respond to incidents, manage risk assessments, and ensure all critical documentation is current. Key tasks include testing power quality, working with building management systems, and upgrading/installing works.

Qualifications

• 17th Edition electrical regs qualification is required.
• Experience with building management systems including fault finding and operator use.
• Experience with HVAC systems and chilled water circuits.

Responsibilities

• React to breakdown maintenance requests within SLA.
• Repairs to modular UPS systems and test power quality issues.
• Undertake site surveys, Method Statements & Risk Assessments for planned works.
• Ensure documentation and records are kept updated for critical systems.
• Provide emergency response standby and call-out coverage.
• Interpret technical drawings and O&M procedures; monitor environmental conditions.
• Enter quotes and remedial works into the in-house system.
