Job summary

QTS is seeking a Development Project Manager to lead the design, pre-construction and construction activities on a Northumberland campus. You will manage budgets and schedules, oversee entitlements, and coordinate with design, procurement and sales engineering teams to deliver on-time, on-budget data center projects.

The role requires a STEM degree, 5+ years in commercial construction, MS Office proficiency (PowerPoint/Excel), and travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• Five or more years of professional experience in commercial construction practices from conceptual development through procurement to close out.
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite, specifically PowerPoint for program updates to executives, and Excel for budgets.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects on campus(es) with updated budgets, schedules, and status reports.
• Create and communicate monthly development program updates for executive reviews.
• Develop master development program for sites, including campus design solution and capital budget.
• Manage entitlement and permitting needs for assigned sites.
• Implement multi-phased site development plans to meet time, budget, and quality targets.
• Update campus master plans to reflect current status and projections.
• Write scopes of work for design, construction and commissioning; participate in procurement and cost estimates.
• Evaluate pricing proposals for design, construction and commissioning services.
• Coordinate with procurement on equipment procurement and delivery.
• Ensure submittals are coordinated with site stakeholders.
• Review monthly pay applications and change orders with contractors.
• Collaborate with Sales Engineers and Product teams for tailored solutions within schedule and budget.
