Job summary

Fuse Energy is seeking a Data Centre Design Engineer to shape the mechanical and electrical backbone of next-generation AI data centres in the UK and internationally. You will own designs from Basis of Design through commissioning, building modular reference designs for rapid deployment.

We're a fast-moving team valuing hands-on builders. You will work on high-density GPU infrastructure, ensuring resilience, code compliance and close collaboration with site teams to deliver reliable, scalable

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related discipline; Chartered status a plus.
• Experience with data centre or critical facilities designs is preferred.
• Familiarity with codes, utilities, site conditions and customer specs.

Responsibilities

• Lead detailed mechanical or electrical design for data centre projects, including layouts and drawings.
• .Develop Basis of Design and design standards for UK and international markets.
• Produce detailed designs, calculations and schematics; support on-site commissioning.
