Job summary

Amazon AWS CPI team is seeking a Data Center Project Manager to oversee electrical, mechanical, controls, and architectural disciplines for data center upgrades and new builds. You will manage scope, schedule, and budget with a focus on reliability, efficiency, and cost optimization.

You will coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, review designs, and drive improvements using data from operations. This role requires leadership, collaboration, and a passion for scalable data center solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in vendor management.
• Experience in data center or other critical environment.
• Experience in data center engineering or operations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Provide project management for construction-related initiatives modifying existing infrastructure.
• Oversee project scope, timeline, and budget for data center projects.
• Lead electrical design review and construction package reviews.
• Create project scope, RFIs, and capital requests.
• Ensure total project quality with commissioning plans and execution oversight.
• Record and report key metrics to team members and management.
• Support operations including procedures, best practices, and maintenance initiatives.
• Drive root-cause failure analysis and coordinate with contractors and vendors.
• Lead cross-functional teams and internal/external stakeholders to ensure successful turnovers.
