Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in vendor management.
• Experience in a data center or other critical environment.
• Experience in data center engineering or operations.
• Experience with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Project management and oversight of construction related activities as they relate to modifying existing infrastructure for installing new or replacing end-of-life equipment, including scope, timeline, and budget.
• Provide project management for initiatives aimed at increasing the resiliency of data centers.
• Electrical design and review of designs for optimization of existing data centers.
• Construction/project package drawing review.
• Create project scope, RFPs, and capital requests.
• Ensure total project quality including commissioning plan and oversight of execution.
• Record and report key metrics to team members and management.
• Provide operational support including review of procedures and maintenance initiatives.
• Drive teams to perform troubleshooting and root-cause failure analysis of equipment or electrical failures.
• Collaborate with contractors and vendors to deliver high-quality project turnovers.
• Be a leader within the group and in internal/external teams supporting the data center.
