Qualifications

• Experience leading end-to-end data architecture initiatives.
• Hands-on with SQL and Python for proofs of concept.
• Experience with data lakehouse design and modern data platforms.
• Knowledge of governance, metadata lineage, and privacy-by-design in platform architecture.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end data architecture for UW's enterprise data platform on Google Cloud.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership including architecture prototyping and code reviews.
• Design and maintain the enterprise lakehouse platform and core data models.
• Collaborate with Data Platform Engineering, Data Science, and governance teams to translate blueprints into production platforms.
