Job summary

Formula. is expanding its data capabilities in London, seeking a Data Architect to own the new data warehouse architecture while staying hands-on and leading a small data engineering team.

You will define modelling, governance and data quality standards, migrate acquired businesses into a unified view, and collaborate with Tech, Analytics and commercial teams to ensure the platform is AI-ready.

Qualifications

• Experience designing production data warehouses or lakehouses.
• Strong SQL and Python skills for building pipelines.
• Knowledge of PII, privacy and access controls.

Responsibilities

• Own the target architecture for the new data warehouse and act as design authority for every build.
• Define modelling, governance and data quality standards, and review work before it ships.
• Prototype pipelines, unblock engineers and lead a small data engineering team.
• Work with Tech, Analytics and commercial teams so the platform is ready for AI.
