Job summary

HCL Technologies Limited is seeking an experienced Enterprise Data Architect to shape enterprise-wide data capabilities and oversee scalable data models and architecture artefacts.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, architects, engineers, product owners, and governance teams to translate complex requirements into robust data solutions, leveraging AWS and modern data patterns in a large transformation.

Qualifications

• 5-10+ years of experience in Data Architecture roles.
• Proven experience engaging with business and technical stakeholders.
• Experience delivering architecture artefacts within large-scale transformation programmes.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile and Kanban environments.
• Experience with Salesforce ecosystems and data architecture.
• Knowledge of Orbus iServer / Orbus Infinity.
• Experience with Talend Data Catalog or similar metadata management tools.
• Understanding of CI/CD practices within data engineering and analytics environments.
• Exposure to Data Governance, Master Data Management (MDM), and Data Lineage solutions.
• Experience in regulated industries such as Financial Services, Insurance, Retail, or Public Sector.

Responsibilities

• Work with business and technical stakeholders to capture requirements and translate them into scalable data architectures.
• Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models and architecture artefacts.
• Design enterprise-scale data solutions with governance and metadata management.
• Evaluate and adopt modern data architecture patterns and cloud-native platforms (AWS).
• Collaborate in Agile/Kanban environments and deliver artefacts in large transformations.
• Support data governance and data quality initiatives across domains.

Technical Skills

• Strong experience in Conceptual, Logical, and Physical Data Modelling.
• Expertise in OLTP and OLAP data modelling techniques.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing, dimensional modelling, and information architecture.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS cloud services and cloud‑native data platforms.
• Knowledge of data integration and ETL/ELT principles.
• Experience designing enterprise-scale data solutions and architecture frameworks.
• Understanding of data governance, data quality, and metadata management practices.
• Familiarity with modern data architecture patterns and best practices.
