Job summary

WeDoData, an education and training organisation near the Hampshire/Surrey border, is seeking a Funding and Compliance Manager to oversee learner records and ensure data accuracy and audit readiness. You will also line-manage 2 MIS Support officers and help develop their knowledge.

Experience in the education sector with MIS, funding and compliance for apprenticeships is essential. You will maintain data quality, generate reports, and liaise with learners, employers and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Line management experience and ability to guide two MIS Support officers.
• Strong data quality controls and ability to produce stakeholder reports.
• Excellent communication with learners, employers and other stakeholders.

Job description

WeDoData are working exclusively with an established education and training organisation based near the Hampshire/Surrey border, supporting learners and employers across the region.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for the funding and compliance throughout the organisation, ensuring accurate individualise learner records (ILR) – checking data, resolving errors, meeting submission deadlines and being fully compliant and audit ready.

You will also be responsible for the line management of 2 MIS Support officers – providing guidance and allocating work whilst helping to develop their knowledge.

About You

We’re looking for someone with experience working in the education sector with a focus on MIS, funding & compliance in apprenticeships.

• Managing and maintaining learner/student data
• Excellent knowledge of apprenticeships and funding rules
• Educational MIS Systems such as YETI, ProSolution, PICS, Tribal EBS, Unit-E
• Data analysis and reporting
• Data quality and compliance
• Producing reports for internal and external stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with learners, employers and other stakeholders

In return

• £42,000 – £46,000 salary
• Hybrid working – 2 days from home
• Flexible working hours and arrangements – 35 hours per week
