Job summary

Futura Design is seeking a Data Analytics – Software and Systems Testing contractor for our OEM client based in Gaydon. The role is Inside IR35 with an umbrella-pay rate of £33.64 per hour and a contract end date of 31 March 2027.

The position focuses on ensuring the integrity, consistency and usability of testing data across domains, bridged between engineering, testing and development teams. You will prepare high-quality data for decision-making and reporting.

Qualifications

• Support project planning with data-driven insights.
• Produce transparent weekly senior-management reporting.
• Interact with key engineering stakeholders to ensure metrics are aligned.
• Interpret the data to determine the key messages that should be shared.
• Ensure data integrity is maintained by monitoring tickets for common errors.

Job description

Our OEM Client based in Gaydon, is searching for a Data Analytics – Software and Systems Testing to join their team, Inside IR35. This is a contract position with a proposed end date of 31st March 2027.

Umbrella Pay Rate: £33.64 per hour.

Duties:

• This role is focused on ensuring the integrity, consistency, and usability of software and systems testing data across all domains created in JIRA/X-Ray and visualised in Tableau.
• This role bridges the gap between engineering, testing, and development teams by analysing the complex datasets, resolving tooling issues, and preparing high-quality data for decision-making and reporting.
• Identify patterns, anomalies, and insights to support engineering and quality teams.

Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience Required:

• Ability to support project planning with data-driven insights.
• Ability to create transparent weekly Senior-Management Reporting.
• Ability to interact with key engineering stakeholders to ensure metrics are aligned and correct.
