Job description

Our OEM Client based in Gaydon, is searching for Infotainment Engineer to join their team, Inside IR35. This is a contract position with a proposed end date of 31st March 2027.

Umbrella Pay Rate: £27.03 per hour.

Duties

• Reviewing requirements to ensure the intended functionality has been delivered and where there is a deviation, flag this.
• Capture critical data to support issue triage & problem solving such as DLT, Wireshark, VLAN, CAN logs, SOMEIP etc...
• Work with internal and external suppliers to ensure issues are being resolved as quickly as possible.
• Support investigations on critical / showstopper issues to mitigate programme delays.
• Work with the Triage team to problem solve key issues across multiple layers of the infotainment system.
• Apply industry best practice to resolve key issues as efficiently as possible.
• As this is a fast‑paced environment, you will face regular ad‑hoc requests and therefore must be willing to work outside your comfort zone and agreed R&Rs.
• Engage with the Product Owners within the Infotainment space, delivering solutions to various problems and be a facilitator between team.
