Job summary

Futura Design Ltd is seeking a Test Engineer for a contract role in the UK, based at Gaydon. The position is Inside IR35 with Umbrella Pay Rate of £27.03 per hour and a proposed end date of 31 March 2027.

You will test standard and custom products/devices, ensuring compliance with quality standards and documenting results. The role requires selecting testing specifications, improving testing procedures, and driving automation to enhance reliability and efficiency.

Our OEM Client based in Gaydon, is searching for a Test Engineer to join their team, Inside IR35. This is a contract position with a proposed end date of 31st March 2027.

Umbrella Pay Rate: £27.03 per hour.

Duties

• Responsible for testing standard and/or custom products, devices, and/or hardware to assess their performance and reliability.
• Ensures products/devices are designed and implemented in accordance with established quality standards and specifications.
• Serves as a primary source for problem identification and improvement.
• Selects testing specifications for new/existing products/devices and ensures testing procedures are in compliance to industry standards.
• Documents procedures for all phases of testing and test results.
• Improves and automates the test methodology.
