Job summary

LA International is seeking a Reporting and Analytics Engineer for a 6-month contract with hybrid working in Warwick. The role focuses on building data products and enterprise BI solutions, with responsibilities spanning data modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines, and performance-optimized dashboards.

The candidate will work with SQL, Python and Azure data services (Data Factory) alongside Snowflake and DataOps.live to deliver scalable data platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Azure data services (Data Factory) and DataOps.live.
• Strong SQL and at least one programming language (Python preferred).
• Proficiency in ETL/ELT tools and data integration frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Define and operationalize Data Products, ensuring ownership and discoverability.
• Lead BI design and development using Power BI, ADF, Snowflake and DataOps.live.
• Build scalable datasets and dashboards aligned with business KPIs; optimize visualization usability.

Reporting and Analytics Engineer

6 Month contract initially + Extensions

Based: Hybrid; Max 3 days p/w Onsite in Warwick

Rate - £450 - £490 p/d via Umbrella

Key Responsibilities:

Modern Data Concepts (Data Products)

• Define and operationalize Data Products, ensuring ownership, discoverability, and reusability.
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python preferred)
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools and data integration frameworks

Business Intelligence & Visualization

• Lead the design and development of enterprise BI solutions using Microsoft Power BI, ADF, Snowflake and DataOps.live
• Build scalable semantic models, datasets, and dashboards aligned with business KPIs.
• Optimize report performance and implement best practices for data visualization and usability.

Cloud Data Platforms & Engineering

• Hands on to integrate solutions using Snowflake as a core data platform.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to design ELT/ETL pipelines and data ingestion frameworks.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of data systems.

Data Engineering & Integration

• Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python preferred)
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools and data integration frameworks
