About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Analytics Senior Analyst to join our growing team. In this role, you will analyze complex core banking data, uncover insights, and contribute to strategic decision-making. Responsibilities include end-to-end data analysis, from extraction and cleaning to developing reports and visualizations. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of core banking systems, data warehousing, and visualization best practices.

About the Team:

Core Accounts Data Platform (CDP), part of the Core Account team within Services (TTS), builds a scalable data platform using Big Data technologies (Spark, Scala, Hive, Hadoop), Kafka/Java, and AI to support core account data needs across multiple lines of business. The platform ingests, enriches, and publishes data in real-time and batch modes, enabling downstream consumption through standardized data models. The team focuses on innovation, data quality, and automation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze data attributes related to core banking systems to identify trends and anomalies.
• Understand core banking data models, including customer, account, transaction, and product data.
• Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Document data definitions, lineage, and quality rules.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand analytical needs and translate them into insights.
• Design and develop dashboards and reports for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Stay updated on industry trends in data analytics, especially in banking.
• Contribute to data governance policies and procedures.
• Troubleshoot data quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Evaluate and implement new analytics tools and technologies.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or related.
• Experience in a data analytics role focusing on core banking data.
• Experience working with large datasets, including extraction, cleaning, and analysis.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with ER and data modeling tools.
• Knowledge of core banking platforms like FLEXCUBE, Finacle, or FIS is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
