Job summary

BMW Group UK is offering a 13-month Data & Analytics placement starting July 2027. You will rotate through Artificial Intelligence Enablement, Data Governance & AI Governance, and Reporting & Analytics, gaining hands-on experience in turning data into business insights and guiding governance policies.

This internship is designed for students ready to drive transformation with data. You will learn to plan and deliver projects, work with data governance frameworks, and develop visualisation skills

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in computer science or maths, with a 2:1 or above.
• Strong A Levels grades in numerical subjects.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with senior stakeholders.
• Keen interest in data and Artificial Intelligence.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Interest in data topics such as data science or data analytics.
• Ability to work on own initiative with mentoring as required.
• Outgoing and professional with reliability and timeliness.

Responsibilities

• Understand business processes and how data relates to them, with data stewards.
• Help define problems to solve using data.
• Design data solutions leveraging trusted data products.
• Develop data visualisations to provide business insights.
• Lead the strategy to enable AI value within BMW Group UK.
