Job summary

Falkirk Council is seeking a Data Analyst within our Waste Services team to provide analytical and technical support, improving the accessibility, quality and consistency of weighbridge data used for decision making.

You will handle large datasets, manage data from GIS platforms and weighbridge software, and ensure compliance with Data Protection legislation and council policies. The role is 37 hours per week with hybrid working.

Qualifications

• Experience handling large datasets and interpreting data for decision making.
• Ability to manage data from GIS platforms and weighbridge software.
• Familiar with data protection legislation and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical and technical support to the Waste Strategy team.
• Improve accessibility, quality and consistency of data (weighbridge data).
• Ensure data handling complies with policies and procedures.
