Falkirk Council is seeking a Data Analyst within our Waste Services team to provide analytical and technical support, improving the accessibility, quality and consistency of weighbridge data used for decision making.
You will handle large datasets, manage data from GIS platforms and weighbridge software, and ensure compliance with Data Protection legislation and council policies. The role is 37 hours per week with hybrid working.

Could you be our next Data Analyst within our Waste Services team?
In this role you will provide analytical and technical support to the Waste Strategy team. You will be responsible for improving the accessibility, quality and consistency of data. Waste data will generally take the form of weighbridge reports, so a basic understanding of weighbridge operations is essential.
The ideal person for this role will be able to handle large datasets, understand the impact data has on decision making. You will be able to manage and interpret data from GIS platforms and weighbridge software.

You will work 37 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 9am - 5pm and Friday 9am - 4.30pm
