Job summary

Vaerdi Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join an established organisation undergoing a major data and technology transformation. This hands-on role focuses on SQL, data analysis and improving data quality.

You will work with data from multiple systems, investigate issues and collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver accurate, reliable data. The position is hybrid with weekly travel to Sheffield on an initial 10-month FTC, offering exposure to a broad data

Qualifications

• Advanced SQL experience essential.
• Strong hands-on data analysis experience.
• Data cleansing, validation and reconciliation skills.
• Good Excel skills, ideally Power Query.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Ability to investigate problems and work independently.
• Experience working with data from multiple systems.

Responsibilities

• Use SQL to extract, analyse and transform data.
• Investigate complex datasets and resolve data quality issues.
• Carry out data cleansing, profiling, mapping and reconciliation.
• Support data migration and system transformation activities.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical teams.
