Job summary

TRIA in Bristol is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join a product-focused SaaS team. This hybrid role (3 days in Bristol) involves data analysis, data quality, customer integrations and close collaboration with Engineering and Customer Success to deliver trusted data.

You will own data quality issues, use SQL and Python to analyse data, and translate complex data findings into practical recommendations while guiding stakeholders across projects.

Qualifications

• 4+ years' experience in Data Analysis, Data Consulting, Analytics or a similar role.
• Strong SQL and Python skills.
• Experience with data quality, validation, ETL/ELT or integrations.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to explain data concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Consultative, solutions-focused approach with stakeholder advising.
• Strong ownership and problem-solving skills.
• STEM degree or equivalent academic background.

Responsibilities

• Owning complex data quality issues from investigation through to resolution.
• Using SQL and Python to analyse, validate and improve data.
• Working closely with Engineering, Customer Success and customers on data integrations.
• Translating technical data issues into clear, practical recommendations.

Central Bristol | Hybrid (3 Days) | £60,000–£75,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits

We're partnering exclusively with an innovative SaaS business to recruit a Senior Data Analyst into a close-knit, product-focused team.

This is a broad role combining data analysis, data quality, customer integrations and stakeholder management. You'll have genuine ownership, working closely with Engineering, Customer Success and customers to solve complex data problems and deliver trusted data.

What You'll Be Doing

• Owning complex data quality issues from investigation through to resolution

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years' experience in Data Analysis, Data Consulting, Analytics or a similar role
• Strong SQL and Python skills
• Experience with data quality, validation, ETL/ELT or integrations
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
• Comfortable explaining complex data concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• A consultative, solutions-focused approach with the confidence to challenge and advise stakeholders
• Strong ownership and problem-solving skills
• A STEM degree/ similar academic background.

Bonus points for: Git, APIs, dbt, LookML, Cube or exposure to financial data.

A background in consultancy, professional services or another highly stakeholder-facing environment would be particularly relevant.
