Job summary

McLaren Automotive Limited is seeking a Data Analyst for the Programme Quality team in Woking. You will manage raw data and generate critical dashboards to monitor quality metrics across multiple functions, influencing project delivery and product quality at launch.

The role requires strong SQL-like data handling, advanced Excel and BI tool usage, and the ability to communicate insights to stakeholders. A forward-looking data culture and collaboration with IT will be essential.

Qualifications

• Advanced level of knowledge for Microsoft Office packages – Excel / Power BI / Power Query.
• Proficiency with development and deployment of self-service BI tools e.g. Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud, Tableau.
• Knowledge of logical and physical data modelling concepts and generic data strategy concepts for a corporate organisation.
• Ability to deliver and communicate innovative visualisations/reports and dashboards to key stakeholders in a complex organisation.
• Knowledge of SAP Business Objects, Azure Cloud and generic IT infrastructure.
• Experience in a process-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage internal and external quality reports and dashboards to ensure transparency of key quality metrics.
• Utilise Power BI and Jira to support reporting workflows.
• Evaluate and integrate analytics platforms and AI technologies to enhance quality capabilities.
• Manipulate and analyse large datasets to deliver customer insights for stakeholders.
• Lead troubleshooting and foster a self-service data culture.
• Manage Programme & Technical Quality reports and related metrics across teams.
• Coordinate data projects with IT regarding new data technologies and data integrity.
