Job summary

McLaren Automotive is seeking a Finance Analyst to oversee financial support and reporting for Product Development across Engineering and Vehicle Line Delivery. You will work with design teams to monitor performance and reporting through programme gateways from concept to production.

You will coordinate budgets, capital spend approvals, month‑end processes and KPI reporting, while driving accountability with stakeholders and supporting forecasting for the business.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintaining reporting structures and adapting to structure change; comfortable with large data volumes.
• Strong system skills including SAP and MS Office; proficient in Excel.
• Demonstrates a team-supported mindset with the ability to take on new challenges and execute effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead business partner for one major vehicle programme, coordinating with Programme Management, Engineering and Purchasing to report performance across gateways from concept to production.
• Support budget approvals at shareholder level and drive accountability at budget holder level.
• Manage capital budgets for one major vehicle programme; ensure proper approvals for capital spending and material cost.
• Support month-end activities including journal prep and contribution to management accounts commentary.
• Challenge stakeholders to drive accountability and provide tools to track progress within budgets.
• Prepare programme KPI reporting across profitability and present to senior leadership.
• Prepare monthly internal forecasts input into wider business forecasting tools and processes.
