Job summary

Marston Holdings Limited is seeking a data analyst to join our Data Team in Rochdale. You will turn complex data into clear reporting and actionable insights for internal teams and clients, supporting better decision-making across the business.

Ideal candidates will have around 3 years’ experience, strong Excel and Power BI skills, and the ability to explain insights to both technical and non-technical audiences. A proactive mindset and interest in continuous improvement are important.

Qualifications

• Around 3 years’ experience in a Data Analyst or similar analytical role.
• Experience creating reports dashboards or analyses to help stakeholders understand performance and drive decisions.
• Confidence with numbers and interpreting data accurately.
• Ability to explain insight clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proactive approach and commitment to continuous improvement.
• Strong problem-solving skills and curiosity to investigate issues to resolution.
• Flexibility to adapt as priorities change.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate needs into reliable reports and insights.
• Explore datasets and build accurate, insightful, and understandable reporting.
• Spot trends and highlight improvements to inform business actions.
• Work with operations and service teams to understand performance challenges and value-added insights.
• Share findings clearly with audiences from staff to senior leaders.
• Develop understanding of key operational, financial, and performance metrics.
• Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency and implement with colleagues.
