Job summary

Change Grow Live in London, UK, seeks a Data Analyst to oversee data collection and analysis across multiple prison services. The role focuses on national reporting, data quality, auditing and staff development within HMP Wandsworth and HMP/YOI Isis.

The position is prison-based, permanent, full-time, and requires security clearance. You will lead data requirements, deliver internal and external reports, and contribute to service improvement.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Analyst to join our London prison services. This person will hold responsibility for overseeing the efficient collection and analysis of data across multiple services. There will be particular focus on national reporting frameworks and being familiar with local data collection, analysis and reporting in other formats as and when required. This role will also include but not be limited to have a quality assurance, auditing, data cleansing and staff development and leadership.

PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A PRISON BASED ROLE AND IS SUBJECT TO PRISON SECURITY CLEARANCE. THIS ROLE IS WORKING WITHIN HMP WANDSWORTH OR HMP/YOI ISIS EVERY WORKING DAY.

Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.

About the Services

Change Grow Live operates the Substance Misuse Psychosocial Interventions provision at HMP Wandsworth and HMP/YOI Isis. They are specialist services based within the prison that is committed to supporting service users to tackle their drug and alcohol use, reduce reoffending and lead happier, healthier lives. Whether their aim is to stop using substances completely, to cut down, or for harm reduction information, we are here to support that journey. HMP Wandsworth is a Cat B local remand prison in Wandsworth, South West London. HMP/YOI Isis is a Cat C men’s prison and young offender institution in Thamesmead, South East London, with prisoners aged between 18 - 27.

About the Role

• To use data that contributes to service user safety and maximise outcomes.
• To produce reporting external audiences (including commissioners).
• To produce regular and ad hoc data, analysis and reporting for internal requirements.
• To support the wider contracting and performance management requirements and that information is shared and disseminated in a professional and timely manner.
• Functional expert on the clinical case management and reporting system
• Identify any issues with data recording and take a solution focused approach to addressing these inaccuracies through collaboratively engaging the wider service team.
• Be the lead contact for service data requirements.
• Provide administration and training on the clinical case management and reporting system.
• To link operational and system pathways and processes.
• Take an active role in wider service leadership.
• Be part of ongoing quality improvement, connecting with resources such as central data and quality teams and using centrally produced information.
• Provide regular supervision meetings and lead on HR processes such as absence management for a team of administrators.
