AECOM is hiring a Water Graduate Engineer to support dam and reservoir projects in the UK. You will work across hydraulic, structural, geotechnical and environmental design, gaining hands-on experience with calculations, reports and engineering software alongside seasoned engineers.

You will participate in feasibility studies, prepare designs and documentation, and join site visits to deepen your understanding of dam performance and safety in real-world conditions.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Water Resources Engineering or related field.
• Master’s degree in the above subjects would be advantageous.
• Water-related modules or relevant work experience is advantageous.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; works well with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Interest in reservoir engineering and sustainable water infrastructure.

Aufgaben

• Undertake numerical analysis using specialist software for dams and reservoirs.
• Stay updated with regulatory developments affecting design work.
• Apply theory to practical situations and help improve project delivery.
• Perform feasibility studies evaluating technical, safety, cost and environmental aspects.
• Prepare designs, drawings, specifications and contracts.
• Write clear reports and present to colleagues, clients and regulators.
• Join site visits to support dam inspections and asset performance understanding.
