Job summary

Nestlé Dalston Factory in Cumbria is seeking a talented, driven individual to join our team as a Process Specialist. This permanent role reports to the Area Manager and focuses on standardising the wet mix plant, delivering stable performance, and driving lean improvements.

You will lead process parameter definition, develop operating standards, and collaborate with technical experts to enhance safety, quality, yield and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in manufacturing or production environments, preferably FMCG/food.
• Ability to define, validate and optimise process parameters and operating standards.
• Experience with data-driven problem solving and process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Define and optimise process parameters for new wet mix plant to deliver stable, repeatable performance.
• Define, validate and maintain process recipes, specifications and work instructions with operating teams.
• Lead trials to improve stability, efficiency, yield and quality.
• Maintain a prioritised pipeline of technical improvements aligned with site strategy.
• Develop training and qualification materials and coach operations teams.
• Assess and endorse technical competence and report priority risks and actions.
