Job summary

Müller Group's Skelmersdale Dairy is seeking a Technical Coordinator to support the governance of the QMS, ensure delivery of high-quality products, and drive continuous improvement across the site. The role collaborates with operational teams, customers and suppliers to maintain standards.

You'll lead internal and external audits, monitor quality performance, and promote food safety compliance with BRC and retailer standards. Relevant HACCP qualifications and IT skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and influencing skills.
• Experience with BRC audits and retailer standards.
• HACCP Level 3 minimum (Level 4 preferred).
• Advanced Food Hygiene qualification.
• Knowledge of microbiology and food manufacturing.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Dairy industry experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supporting and improving the site's Quality Management System.
• Leading internal and external audit activities.
• Monitoring quality performance and managing key reports.
• Supporting problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Building strong relationships with operational teams, customers and suppliers.
• Driving compliance with food safety and quality standards.
