Job summary

Saputo Dairy UK is seeking a Multi-Skilled Engineer for the Hawes production plant in the Yorkshire Dales. You will maintain state-of-the-art cheesemaking equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure facilities run efficiently.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of process/packaging environments and legal requirements (FMCG).
• Experience with LEAN, TPM or Continuous Improvement methods.
• Familiarity with Health & Safety, Food Safety and GMP standards.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to think systematically and drive change.
• Proactive, decisive and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Maintain plant, equipment, buildings and facilities to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Apply planned maintenance strategies in a cost-effective manner.
• Assist with project engineering, installations and commissioning of new/second-hand equipment.
• Ensure ongoing statutory and legal compliance on day-to-day and long-term bases.
