Job summary
Long Clawson Dairy (Clawson Farms) in Bottesford, Leicestershire, is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a heritage cheese site. You will manage breakdowns, perform planned maintenance and contribute to improvements across highly specialized equipment.
Ideally apprentice-trained multi-skilled engineer with electrical background and experience in manufacturing. You will work Mon-Fri with alternating early and late shifts, and participate in capital projects and investment
Qualifications
- Ideally apprentice trained multi skilled engineer / electrical engineer / electrician – or experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Health & Safety awareness.
- Adaptable / flexible to meet requirements and demands of the business and seasonal fluctuations.
- Ability to work on own initiative & self-motivated.
- Industrious and able to work under pressure.
- Good level of accuracy and numeracy when completing records.
Responsibilities
- Fix breakdowns and carry out planned maintenance.
- Develop improvements and support investment and installation of new equipment.
- Participate in capital project installations.
