Job summary

Talent Agri in West Wales is seeking an experienced Farm Manager for a 400-acre dairy operation near Ffos-y-ffin. You will take ownership of the herd, grazing, fertility and day-to-day direction, with a strong grass-based system and a supportive family-owned team.

The role offers responsibility, a modern three-bedroom house and a profit-share scheme, with twice-daily milking and a focus on cow welfare, performance and driving the farm forward with the owners.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as Herd Manager or Farm Manager in a grass-based dairy.
• Strong leadership, decision-making and ability to drive performance with owners.
• Proficiency in AI, fertility management, grazing planning and cow welfare.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily running and performance of the dairy herd.
• Make grass and grazing decisions to improve farm performance.
• Manage fertility, AI and breeding programmes.
• Oversee foot trimming, herd health and welfare.
• Lead milking team and maintain daily routines.
• Collaborate with owners to drive the farm forward.
