Job summary

Müller Group is seeking an experienced Logistics Operations Manager to lead the Skelmersdale Depot team, oversee end-to-end logistics and transport operations, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced dairy logistics environment.

You will manage a high-performing team, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and optimise costs while delivering exceptional service to customers and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing logistics team.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and Environmental Management Systems.
• Manage depot operations, including rota planning, staffing, and cost control.
• Deliver against KPIs and OGSM targets.
• Drive customer service excellence for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives.
• Ensure legal compliance for drivers and vehicles.
• Conduct performance reviews, training, and disciplinary procedures.
• Drive an inclusive culture and promote wellbeing, diversity and inclusivity at site level.
