Job summary

Coveo is seeking an experienced Forward Deployed Engineer to turn ambitious use cases into real, working solutions. You will prototype, validate performance, and shape architectures directly with customers across Europe, primarily in German and English, with on-site travel as needed.

You will own a portfolio of DACH accounts, operate during European hours, and collaborate with internal teams to push product boundaries and drive adoption.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering, system integration, or related fields.
• Fluent in German and English (written and spoken).
• Strong prototyping skills spanning APIs, data pipelines, and full-stack systems.
• Experience in ambiguous, high-impact environments with rapid, experimentation-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

• Disambiguate customer needs to shape clear use cases and solution architectures.
• Build working prototypes and technical proofs based on approved use cases.
• Translate business and architectural requirements into functional, testable solutions.
• Validate solution feasibility, performance, and scalability through hands-on experimentation.
• Iterate rapidly on solutions to accelerate production readiness and share reusable patterns across teams.
• Serve as the primary technical owner for assigned DACH accounts, building trusted stakeholder relationships and driving adoption while working European hours and traveling on-site as required.
• Deliver workshops, requirements sessions, technical documentation, and demos fluently in German and English.
