Bilingual Forward Deployed Engineer (German/English)

Job summary

Coveo is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to turn ambitious use cases into real, working solutions for DACH customers. You will own a portfolio of accounts, work in German and English, and travel to customer sites as needed.

Role requires hands-on prototyping, strong problem-solving, and the ability to operate across APIs, data pipelines, and full-stack components in European hours.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering, system integration, or related fields.
• Professional fluency in both German and English (written and spoken) for customer-facing delivery.
• Strong technical prototyping skills spanning APIs, data pipelines, and front-end/back-end systems.

Responsibilities

• Disambiguate customer needs to shape clear use cases and solution architectures.
• Build working prototypes and technical proofs based on approved use cases.
• Translate business and architectural requirements into functional, testable solutions.
• Validate solution feasibility, performance, and scalability through hands-on experimentation.
• Iterate rapidly on solutions to accelerate production readiness and share insights across teams.
• Deliver workshops, requirements sessions, and demos in German and English.
