Job summary

Opus Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Professional to lead Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementations. You will collaborate with clients and teams to translate requirements into functional designs and drive value through successful technology adoption.

The role requires strong stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, and a track record of delivering transformation projects across industries. Hybrid working and client-facing responsibilities are expected.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as a Functional Consultant or Solution Architect across multiple sectors.
• Certifications in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and/or Power Platform are preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering through stakeholder engagement, analysis, and workshops.
• Translate business requirements into functional specs and solution recommendations.
• Advise on process improvements and transformation opportunities based on best practices.
• Serve as primary functional contact through design, documentation, testing, training, and support.
• Contribute to client technology strategies and roadmaps for Microsoft technologies.
• Collaborate with development teams to communicate requirements and ensure delivery.
• Configure Dynamics 365 solutions to meet business needs and document outputs.
• Produce user stories, acceptance criteria, and process maps for projects.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer and deliver client training materials.

The Role:

This is an opportunity to play a key role in delivering digital transformation projects, helping clients achieve their objectives through successful technology adoption and business change.

Working within a technology consulting team, you will support the delivery of innovative business solutions powered by Microsoft Dynamics 365, the Power Platform, and Azure services. You will collaborate with both technical and client stakeholders to design, configure, and implement solutions that meet business requirements and drive measurable value.

You will also work closely with technology and design teams to support client projects, identify future challenges and opportunities, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Experience and Skills:

• 6+ years' experience working as a Functional Consultant/Solution Architect across multiple industry sectors.
• Current professional certifications, preferably in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and/or Power Platform (Power Automate) technologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels both internally and externally.
• Strong commercial awareness and a commitment to delivering maximum value for clients.
• Ability to inspire, motivate, and influence stakeholders, colleagues, and clients.
• Strong workshop facilitation, business analysis, and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead requirements gathering activities through stakeholder engagement, business analysis, and functional discovery workshops.
• Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications and solution recommendations.
• Advise clients on process improvements and technology-enabled transformation opportunities based on industry best practices.
• Act as the primary functional contact within your assigned workstream throughout the project lifecycle, including design, documentation, testing, training, and support.
• Contribute to client technology strategies and roadmaps, identifying opportunities to maximise the value of Microsoft technologies.
• Work closely with development teams to communicate solution requirements and support successful delivery.
• Configure Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions to meet agreed business requirements.
• Produce high-quality project documentation including user stories, acceptance criteria, workshop outputs, business process maps, and functional design documents.
