Job summary

Opus Recruitment Solutions is seeking a senior Functional Consultant/Solution Architect to lead Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform delivery for digital transformation projects in the UK.

You will engage with clients and cross-functional teams to design, configure, and implement solutions that deliver measurable value and adoption success. The role requires 6+ years of experience and relevant certifications, with strong communication and workshop facilitation skills.

Qualifications

• 6+ years' experience as a Functional Consultant/Solution Architect across multiple sectors.
• Current professional certifications, preferably in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and/or Power Platform technologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to engage at all levels.
• Strong commercial awareness and commitment to delivering maximum value for clients.
• Ability to inspire, motivate, and influence stakeholders, colleagues, and clients.
• Strong workshop facilitation, business analysis, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering through stakeholder engagement, business analysis, and workshops.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and solution recommendations.
• Advise clients on process improvements and transformation opportunities.
• Act as the primary functional contact across the project lifecycle (design, docs, testing, training, support).
• Contribute to client technology strategies and roadmaps to maximise Microsoft technologies' value.
• Collaborate with development teams to communicate requirements and support delivery.
• Configure Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions to meet business requirements.
• Produce high-quality project documentation (user stories, acceptance criteria, maps, designs).
• Facilitate knowledge transfer and support client adoption of new solutions.
• Deliver user training sessions and develop training materials.

This is an opportunity to play a key role in delivering digital transformation projects, helping clients achieve their objectives through successful technology adoption and business change.

Working within a technology consulting team, you will support the delivery of innovative business solutions powered by Microsoft Dynamics 365, the Power Platform, and Azure services. You will collaborate with both technical and client stakeholders to design, configure, and implement solutions that meet business requirements and drive measurable value.

You will also work closely with technology and design teams to support client projects, identify future challenges and opportunities, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Experience and Skills:

• 6+ years' experience working as a Functional Consultant/Solution Architect across multiple industry sectors.
• Current professional certifications, preferably in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and/or Power Platform (Power Automate) technologies.
