Job summary

Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (CWP) is seeking a Band 5 Education Mental Health Practitioner / CYP Wellbeing Practitioner for Wirral MHST. The role focuses on CYP mental health, school partnership work and delivering evidence-based interventions to children and families.

The post requires CYP-IAPT training or equivalent postgraduate qualification, professional registration within 6 months, and a commitment to ongoing professional development; some roles may be fixed-term

Qualifications

• Post Graduate Certificate or above from a CYP-IAPT provider.
• Professional registration with recognised National Body (BPS, BABCP) within 6 months of qualification.
• Psychology or other health related undergraduate degree.
• Continued professional development evidenced by certificated courses from recognised training bodies.

Responsibilities

• Work within Wirral MHST providing assessment and interventions for CYPs and families.
• Engage in regular case management and clinical supervision with experienced staff.
• Deliver 1:1 and group Low Intensity CBT based interventions for children, young people and parents/carers.
