Job summary

Cheshire & Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Band 5 Education Mental Health Practitioner/CYPWP for the East Cheshire Mental Health Support Team (MHST). You will work with schools and settings to provide information, guidance, and direct work with children, young people and families.

Regular clinical supervision supports delivery of Low Intensity CBT-based interventions. Applicants must have registration with a recognised National Body (BPS, BABCP) or be able to obtain

Qualifications

• Registration with a recognised National Body (BPS, BABCP) OR eligibility to obtain within 6 months of start date.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a range of 1:1 and group Low Intensity CBT-based interventions for children, young people and parents/carers.
• Work directly with schools, colleges and settings providing information, advice and guidance through consultation, training and direct work.
• Provide assessment and other interventions under clinical supervision from experienced staff.
• Contribute to evaluation of initiatives to ensure service effectiveness, ethics and safety.
• Build positive working relationships with schools and partner agencies.
