National Skills Agency Ltd is hiring an Apprenticeships Operations Manager (CYP) to lead day-to-day apprenticeship operations across CYP programmes nationwide. The role ensures quality, compliance and timely achievement for learners while maintaining strong employer and learner engagement.

You will oversee curriculum sequencing, initial assessments and progression, supporting L&D Coaches through coaching, observations and CPD, and you will monitor performance against targets with a focus on

Qualifications

• Teaching/training qualification at Level 3 or above.
• Assessor qualification relevant to CYP apprenticeships.
• Internal Quality Assurance qualification.

Responsabilités

• Lead day-to-day apprenticeship operations, monitoring quality, performance, risks and compliance.
• Contribute to Self-Assessment Report and Quality Improvement Plan, ensuring inspection and audit readiness.
• Ensure CYP apprenticeship programmes are ambitious, relevant and sequenced, including initial assessment and recognition of prior learning.
• Monitor teaching, training, assessment, off-the-job training and English/maths provision.
• Develop L&D Coaches through observations, standardisation and CPD.
• Meet agreed retention, achievement and timely completion targets.
• Monitor apprentice progress and EPA preparation, intervening early where progress is at risk.
• Analyse achievement and EPA outcomes to identify improvements and progression.
• Ensure meaningful progress reviews and strong employer/apprentice engagement.
• Identify and support SEND, ALN and other barriers to learning.
• Line manage L&D Coaches, set objectives and monitor caseloads.
• Support recruitment and induction, manage early leavers and escalate issues.
