Job summary

The Woodland Trust is seeking a Cyber Security Manager to lead the delivery of the cyber security strategy, roadmaps, and policy frameworks from our Grantham head office with a hybrid home/office setup. You will oversee governance activities and the cyber risk register while guiding a dedicated security team.

Responsibilities include developing awareness programmes, monitoring threats, and reporting metrics to leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a successful team and creating a positive work culture.
• Strong communication and collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
• Knowledge of Cyber Security Governance, Risk and Compliance principles, GDPR and Data Protection legislation.
• Experience developing cyber security strategies, roadmaps and improvement programmes.
• Knowledge of Cyber Essentials, NIST and NCSC guidance.
• Experience managing cyber security operations, incident responses and risk assessments.
• Experience developing and maintaining security policies, procedures, standards and controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery and development of the Cyber Security Strategy, roadmap and maintain policies, standards and procedures.
• Act as the Trust's lead cyber security adviser, providing guidance to senior leaders and teams.
• Maintain the cyber security risk register and lead governance activities with reporting to leadership.
• Line manage and lead a team, providing support and guidance.
• Design and develop an organisation-wide cyber security awareness and education programme.
• Monitor threats, vulnerabilities and industry developments and make recommendations.
