Job summary

The Woodland Trust is seeking a Cyber Security Manager to lead the development and continuous improvement of the charity's cyber security capabilities. This hybrid role is based at Grantham with monthly head office attendance.

You will line-manage a team, own governance, risk and compliance, and work with senior leaders to implement policies, security standards and education programmes across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a cyber security team and driving a positive culture.
• Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of GDPR and data protection legislation.
• Experience in governance, risk and compliance with relevant standards (NIST, Cyber Essentials, NCSC).

Responsibilities

• Lead the Cyber Security Strategy, roadmaps, and maintain policies.
• Act as the Trust’s lead cyber security adviser to senior leaders and teams.
• Maintain the cyber security risk register and governance reporting to leadership.
• Line manage and develop the security team.
• Design and implement an organisation-wide cyber security awareness programme.
• Monitor threats and industry developments; provide recommendations.
• Hybrid role with monthly head office attendance at Grantham.
• Fixed-term contract for 24 months.
