Job summary

HCL Technologies Limited in Leeds, UK is seeking a Cyber Security Specialist - Security Connector to join a hybrid work model with 2 days per week at client location. The role focuses on modern enterprise technologies, cloud and AI, and exposure to RESTful APIs and containerised microservices.

The ideal candidate will have strong threat modelling experience, knowledge of security standards (ISO 27000, PCI DSS, NIST, OWASP) and certifications in security management or technical security.

Qualifications

• Broad knowledge of modern Enterprise technologies including Cloud and AI.
• Experience with threat modelling frameworks such as STRIDE / MITRE ATT&CK.
• Knowledge of security standards (ISO 27000, PCI DSS, COBIT, NIST, OWASP).
• Certifications in security management (CISSP / CISM / CCSP) or equivalent.
• Certifications in technical security (CEH / OSCP) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Apply threat modelling to enterprise environments and assist in security design.
• Assess security controls across endpoints, networks, cryptography and IAM.
• Collaborate with global teams to implement security measures and best practices.
• Stay updated on industry standards and regulatory requirements.
