Job summary

DCV Technologies is seeking a Cyber Security Specialist for a Banking Sector client in London. The role is hybrid with three days on-site from the London office.

The contractor will help secure complex enterprise environments, focusing on cloud, AI, APIs, and containerised microservices, while applying threat modelling frameworks like STRIDE and MITRE ATT&CK. Candidate should have extensive security domain knowledge (endpoint, network, cryptography, IAM) and industry certifications

Qualifications

• Broad knowledge of modern Enterprise technologies including Cloud and AI.
• Exposure to RESTful APIs and containerised microservices.
• Up-to-date threat modelling frameworks e.g. STRIDE / MITRE ATT&CK.
• Extensive knowledge of security domains (endpoint, network, cryptography, IAM).
• Certifications in security management (CISSP/CISM/CCSP) or equivalent.
• Certifications in technical security domains (CEH/OSCP) or equivalent.
• Experience with public and/or private cloud environments.
• Awareness of ISO27000, PCI DSS, COBIT, NIST, OWASP standards.

Job title - Cyber Security Specialist - Security Connector

Work mode - Hybrid 3 days on site from London office

End Client - Banking Sector Client

Rate Inside IR35 - Up to £600/Day

Start date - 1st November 2026

Duration of assignment - 1 Year with likely extension

Standard Working hours.

Key skills/knowledge/experience :

• Broad knowledge of modern Enterprise technologies including Cloud and AI.
• Exposure to contemporary architectures e.g. RESTful APIs and containerised microservices.
• Up-to date on emerging threats and experienced with threat modelling frameworks e.g. STRIDE / MITRE ATT&CK.
• Significant knowledge of cyber security domains and how they apply to Enterprise business environments e.g. endpoint, network, cryptography, and IAM
• Certifications in security management e.g. CISSP / CISM / CCSP or equivalent.
• Certifications in technical security domains e.g. CEH / OSCP or equivalent
• Experience of Public and or Private cloud environment
• Awareness of industry related security standards such as ISO 27000 series, PCI DSS, COBIT, NIST, OWASP.
