Job summary

DCV Technologies seeks a Cyber Security Specialist for a Security Connector role, based in London with a hybrid work pattern (3 days on site). The contract runs for 1 year with potential extension, at rates up to 600/day Inside IR35, starting 1 November 2026.

You will engage with a Banking Sector client, applying enterprise security knowledge across cloud, APIs, and various security domains, while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Broad knowledge of modern Enterprise technologies including Cloud and AI.
• Experience with threat modelling frameworks STRIDE and MITRE ATT&CK.
• Significant knowledge of cyber security domains in enterprise environments (endpoint, network, cryptography, IAM).
• Certifications in security management (CISSP / CISM / CCSP) or equivalent.
• Certifications in technical security domains (CEH / OSCP) or equivalent.

Duration of assignment – 1 Year with likely extension

Standard Working hours.

Key skills/knowledge/experience :

• Broad knowledge of modern Enterprise technologies including Cloud and AI.
• Exposure to contemporary architectures e.g. RESTful APIs and containerised microservices.
• Up–to date on emerging threats and experienced with threat modelling frameworks e.g. STRIDE / MITRE ATT&CK.
• Significant knowledge of cyber security domains and how they apply to Enterprise business environments e.g. endpoint, network, cryptography, and IAM
• Certifications in security management e.g. CISSP / CISM / CCSP or equivalent.
• Certifications in technical security domains e.g. CEH / OSCP or equivalent
• Experience of Public and or Private cloud environment
• Awareness of industry related security standards such as ISO 27000 series, PCI DSS, COBIT, NIST, OWASP.
