Job summary
BT Group is seeking software developers to tackle challenging cyber security problems across frontend, backend and cloud-native platforms in the UK. You will work with experienced engineers to design, implement and improve scalable solutions while maintaining high standards and security considerations.
Applicants should be curious, collaborative, and capable of learning new technologies. A UK Developed Vetting (DV) clearance is required, and roles span across multiple software domains within BT
Qualifications
- Proficient in software development with strong fundamentals.
- Experience with code reviews and maintaining code quality standards.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience using Jira and Confluence for collaboration and tracking.
- Version control with GitHub, GitLab or Bitbucket.
- Exposure to Agile software development teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop resilient, well-tested code across frontend and backend components.
- Perform code reviews and collaborate to meet quality standards.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements for faster delivery.
- Engage with customers and stakeholders to refine requirements.
- Collaborate across platforms including Linux, Windows, macOS and Kubernetes.
