Job summary

BT Group is seeking a Data Engineering Specialist to design and maintain data pipelines for cyber threat intelligence. You will work closely with data scientists and analysts to transform large datasets and meet evolving requirements.

Hybrid role based in Bristol or Manchester, with a strong emphasis on data platforms and scalable delivery. The role requires experience with big data, analytics capabilities, and clear communication to translate complex needs into robust data solutions for BT’s

Qualifications

• Experience with big data and data analytics.
• Knowledge of data analysis platforms and tooling.
• Strong communication skills to explain complex requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Data Pipelines for extraction, transformation and loading processes.
• Assemble large, complex data sets meeting user and business needs.
• Collaborate with data scientists and intelligence analysts to deliver requirements.
• Identify and implement processes to improve data delivery and scalability.
• Build and maintain partnerships with internal and external data groups.
• Contribute to tools and analytics for world‑class threat intelligence.
