Job summary

Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency seeks a Lead Cyber Security Risk Manager to identify and mitigate cyber risks across its digital infrastructure. Qualifications

• Experience leading cybersecurity risk management efforts.
• Knowledge of government security standards and NCSC CAF/NIST frameworks.
• Proven ability to communicate risk to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Identify, understand and mitigate cyber risks across DVSA's digital infrastructure.
• Lead risk assessments and threat analyses to inform risk-based decisions.
• Provide tailored advice to stakeholders using published standards and expert input.
• Ensure DVSA compliance with HMG Security Policy Framework, NCSC, CAF and NIST.
• Lead, mentor and engage with staff to deliver objectives and maintain integrity.
• Oversee incident response as directed by the Head of Cyber Assurance.
