Job summary

Matalan is seeking a Head of Cyber Security / CISO to lead the company’s cyber security strategy, governance, risk management and operational resilience at a senior level. You will own cyber risk, security architecture, incident readiness and supplier security, aligning priorities with measurable risk reduction and protection of customers and data.

The role requires senior leadership experience, strong oversight of security operations, and the ability to translate technical risk into business

Qualifications

• Senior-level cyber security leadership in a complex tech environment.
• Strong governance, risk management and incident response experience.
• Ability to translate cyber risks into business impact and exec decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead cyber security capability across governance, architecture, delivery and continuous improvement.
• Provide senior cyber security leadership to the Director of IT, Executive team and governance forums.
• Oversee performance management of cyber security contractors, managed service partners and third parties.
• Drive continuous improvement of cyber controls through audit findings and threat intelligence.
