Job summary

City of Cleveland is seeking a Network Analyst II / Cyber Security to troubleshoot and implement complex IT solutions across the city’s data and voice networks. You will support system architecture, networking, and security, aiding in the deployment and maintenance of critical infrastructure.

The role requires LAN/WAN knowledge, TCP/IP experience, Cisco networking, and Windows PC client-server expertise, with certifications preferred. On-site work and cross-team collaboration are expected.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Networking, or related field required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Three years of full-time IT/IS experience, two in Windows environment.
• Must understand LAN/MAN/WAN, Cisco Networking, TCP/IP, Routers, Switches, Windows client-server or web-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots, repairs, and implements complex IT solutions for city networks.
• Designs, develops, installs, and tests domain and network architecture.
• Maintains records of maintenance, inventory, and security related to voice and data networks.
• Provides consultation and customer service to users of data and telecommunications networks.
