Job summary

ITAC Solutions in Birmingham, UK, seeks an experienced network engineer to design, implement, and maintain client network systems. You will provide escalated support and manage switches, routers, firewalls, VLANs, VPNs, and wireless across multiple platforms.

The role includes on-site service, ongoing training, and a monthly bonus if performance targets are met. A Bachelor's degree and multiple certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Two or more relevant certifications (Network+, CCNA, Fortinet NSE, Azure Administrator Associate).
• Comfortable reviewing structured cabling drawings and performing physical cable troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain network systems for clients.
• Provide escalated technical support on complex network issues.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Manage VLANs, VPNs, and wireless systems across multiple platforms.
• Conduct network performance analysis and drive improvements.
• Perform on-site service calls at client facilities.
• Document work and maintain accurate account files.
