Job summary

Smith+Naphew is seeking a leader to own our global OT cybersecurity programme, embedding security into how manufacturing technologies are designed, operated and supported. You will guide governance, risk management and security-by-design across multiple sites worldwide.

You will work across cybersecurity, IT, engineering and manufacturing, coordinating incident response and aligning with IEC 62443, NIST, and ISO standards to protect operations while enabling innovation.

Qualifications

• Experience in OT or industrial cybersecurity within manufacturing or critical infrastructure.
• Ability to lead programmes across engineering, IT and stakeholders without direct control of implementation teams.
• Knowledge of IEC 62443, NIST SP 800-82, NIST CSF and ISO standards.
• Experience leading teams and developing capability while fostering collaboration and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Own and define the global OT cybersecurity programme direction and governance.
• Lead risk management activities across OT environments and provide technical oversight.
• Collaborate with OT architecture and engineering teams for secure modernisation.
• Coordinate incident response activities and drive security by design across projects.
